Gaia Gals - Hannah's Summer Picks

Hiking with Kaya in Shenandoah National Park

Hiking with Kaya in Shenandoah National Park

I've been thoroughly enjoying this summer.  Summer has all my favorite things: sunshine, heat, my birthday & weekend getaway trips!  After moving to NC from MN last summer, I've been gradually getting to know more places in Greensboro and around the state.  I especially love spots with beautiful scenery that are dog-friendly for walking Greta (siberian husky) and Kaya (border collie/german shepard/mutt mix).  Here are some pics from recent walks/travels wearing my favorite summer go-to garments!

Hannah's Favorite Summertime Gaia Conceptions garments:

♥︎ Tube Top - This is a MUST for summer! Super great for layering or wearing on its own.  I've been wearing mine for camping, hiking, trips to the beach & even at my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner. The great thing about Gaia garments is that they can be dressed up or down and the Tube Top is a perfect example! Mine is made from Medium Stretch Hemp & is dyed Raincloud

♥︎ Wanderer Short Skirt - This skirt goes with any top, is super flowy & light and feels great. I often pair this with a Tube Top or with an Eos Shirt.  This summer we also released our new Wanderer Skort series! This is our Wanderer skirt with a little pair of shorts on the inside - exactly what the active nomad lady needs! Mine is made from Light Hemp/Organic Cotton Knit & is dyed Eggplant

These pics are from a hiking trip to South Mountain State Park.  The park has a stunning waterfall and lots of giant rock formations that are covered in moss! I loved it!

♥︎ Love Me 2 Times Simplicity Short Dress -  I used to shy away from the Love Me 2 Times designs but then I came to my senses! Truly though, I know a lot of people I meet at festivals & in the boutique don't know how they feel about wearing a tube top because it may be more reveling than they are used to or they aren't sure if it will stay up. I do pull the sides of mine up sometimes, but it totally does stay up. I can garden, dance, hike, walk my dogs & dye clothes in this dress and it stays put!  I also love this garment because it can be worn as a skirt with the waistband folded down, making it excellent for travel because you instantly have multiple outfits in one!  I have found it to be such a good base layer for when I'm out camping. I can add a long sleeve shirt over this dress and my core stays nice and warm. Mine has our Organic Stretch Cotton on top and our NC Grown Organic Cotton for the skirt, in Midnight

The doggies and I love walking thru the Greensboro Arboretum, where these pictures were taken

♥︎ Boob Tube - I am here to tell you that you will want a boob tube. These work under our Love Me 2 Times designs for an added layer and modesty. They also look really nice under our Tie Tank Breeze Wanderer dresses and our Apron Wrap dresses.  Or, you can just rock the boob tube on its own if you're looking to get a little more sunshine on your skin.  I have one in Medium Stretch Hemp in Grey and one in Organic Stretch Cotton in Spinach.  My Tie Tank Breeze Wanderer Short Dress is made from our Organic Tissue Cotton and dyed Raincloud.  I really enjoyed how cool and comfortable it was while hiking at Lake Brandt with the doggies

♥︎ Apron Wrap Short Dress - This dress is one of my favorites because it is so flattering, so stylish and so easy to wear! All you do it slide the neck over your head and wrap the skirt at the hip and you have a beautiful & effortless style.  I've worn this all summer long and recently rocked it while traveling to Washington state.  This pic was taken at Doe Bay on Orcas Island.  My Apron Wrap Dress is made from our Light Hemp/Organic Cotton Knit and dyed Eggplant
